[1] And I saw a beast rising out of the sea, with ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems upon its horns and a blasphemous name upon its heads.

[2] And the beast that I saw was like a leopard, its feet were like a bear's, and its mouth was like a lion's mouth. And to it the dragon gave his power and his throne and great authority.
[3] One of its heads seemed to have a mortal wound, but its mortal wound was healed, and the whole earth followed the beast with wonder.
[4] Men worshiped the dragon, for he had given his authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast, and who can fight against it?"

[5] And the beast was given a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was allowed to exercise authority for forty-two months;

[6] it opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling, that is, those who dwell in heaven.
[7] Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them. And authority was given it over every tribe and people and tongue and nation,
[8] and all who dwell on earth will worship it, every one whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb that was slain.
[9] If any one has an ear, let him hear:
[10] If any one is to be taken captive,
to captivity he goes;
if any one slays with the sword,
with the sword must he be slain.
Here is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints.

[11] Then I saw another beast which rose out of the earth; it had two horns like a lamb and it spoke like a dragon.

[12] It exercises all the authority of the first beast in its presence, and makes the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose mortal wound was healed.
[13] It works great signs, even making fire come down from heaven to earth in the sight of men;
[14] and by the signs which it is allowed to work in the presence of the beast, it deceives those who dwell on earth, bidding them make an image for the beast which was wounded by the sword and yet lived;
[15] and it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast so that the image of the beast should even speak, and to cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain.
[16] Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead,
[17] so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name.
[18] This calls for wisdom: let him who has understanding reckon the number of the beast, for it is a human number, its number is six hundred and sixty-six.

My guesses as to what it might mean.

[1] Perhaps this describes the original charter of the European Union, which was drafted in 1948 with 7 original countries which later became 10. It might also describe a collection of Globalist corporations.
[2] The beast is the anti-christ, and the dragon is the devil himself.
[3] A demonic miracle of some sort.
[4] The anti-christ will have a strong following.
[5] For 3.5 years, the anti-christ will run the earth. I suspect that this will be an economic rule.
[6] The anti-christ will take glory for himself.
[7] Christians will be conquered by the anti-christ and his followers. Perhaps a one-world currency will force compliance.
[8] The green earth worshipers will have their day, worshiping the creation, rather than the creator.
[9] listen-up.
[10] this is going to be tough.
[11] The high priest shows up on the scene, apparently when somebody attempts to murder the anti-christ.
[12] People like him as much as they like the anti-christ, and the high priest heals the anti-christ. The high priest must be in the presence of the anti-christ to work his magic.
[13] This will be impressive.
[14] The high priest makes a big statue of the anti-christ, and distributes photographs of his statue around the world. Sort of a standard "Budda-style" image, if you will.
[15] The high priest will set-up a computer at all points of transaction (Safeway, the bank, Burger King, Gas Stations, everywhere) that will speak to people purchasing things as a "virtual anti-christ". An Image of the anti-christ will be at each of these ATMs. To pay, folks will need to kneel-down to get their forehead within 4" of a sensor mounted to the ground. That is because their bio-chip will be in their foreheads. The elderly will have a waste-high sensor that will work for them, but only for their right hands. Both MUST acknowledge that the anti-christ is their one-and-only god at each and every purchase. For those who try to cheat the system, it is the death penalty.

[17] All other marketing must be done in secret, and then by swapping this for that. Silver would be good for these situations.
[18] This clue is talking about the machine with the image of the anti-christ; not the anti-christ himself. Also, it was meant to be UN-solvable until the end-time Generation (that is us). A human number from the old testament is 6. Obviously, the image given the power to speak and to keep track of all financial transactions IS a computer. English-speaking countries invented the computer (integrated circuit in 1947 in England) and primarily starting being developed mostly in the United States starting in 1948. Linear progression is the simplest thing you can do to codify a language. Remember, this is a riddle which is meant to be solved. So, here is the solution. Applying Linear progression to our alphabet by sixes is done as follows:

C = 18
D = 24
E = 30
F = 36
G = 42
H = 48
I = 54
J = 60
K = 66
L = 72
M = 78
N = 84
O = 90
P = 96

We next tally-up what COMPUTER equals:

Total = 666

So, this doesn't mean that computers are evil, or that the number 666 is evil. I just means that when you CAN calculate the solution, you ARE in that final generation which will see all this happen.
